Re: Convert yyyymmdd string to date for use in chart

    1. My original date is variable and I could not link to variable DATE "original date need to manually convert 'without link', my new date column NO link to original date column "
    2. I couldn't use date and value together in chart "my chart value is messy"
    Please look at my picture

Re: Convert yyyymmdd string to date for use in chart

    Hello again
I'm so grateful for your time
this is my obligation that I say to others for this problem and way to solve it:
kindly 6StringJazzer that was my mistake that I didn't explain completely
EXCEL is logical software and I'm using non-standard data, for this reason excel cannot match standard date format and non-standard value, I have two data point value for each day
by the way, if anyone wants to use of excel for NEoWave analysis then this result can be helpful
I found Excel for wave analysis better than any other analysis technical software such as : Motive Wave, Dynamic Trader, Meta Stock and Meta Trader because we use non-standard data and this is not logical for softwares. fortunately Excel is some extent Open Source.
In the attach file I explained completely for solve this problem
actually we need to use TEXT instead of DATE format for showing time in our chart
If this possible please refer anyone to this page that they wants to use EXCEL for wave analysis "NEoWave"
And thank you for allowing us to share our information with others

    Your attachments are not valid.

    To attach a file:

    1. Under the text box where you type your reply click the Go Advanced button.
    2. On the next screen scroll down and under the Attachments section click the Manage Attachments link, which will show a pop-up window.
    3. Click the Choose File button to select a file to attached.
    4. Click the Upload button to upload the file.
    5. Then click the Close This Window button. Your file is now attached to your post.

There is a bug in our image attachment feature. To attach an image, first click Go Advanced under your edit box. Then go ahead to press the image icon and attach your image.

I think we have a language barrier.

Your data is text. Your question and original file shows that you need to show dates in your chart. I gave you a solution to convert the text to dates.

What do you need that is different than what I gave you?

There is no need for all those steps. Take column C and apply custom format dd-mmm

Sir I have attached a dynamic table with the excel data. I have EURUSD data of daily time frame and for each period has two data points...High and Low of the day as per the order they occured. My requirements are as per given below:-

First Requirement: I required to divide each daily period in two equal sections i.e. 12 hours each section.

Second Requirement: I required first data point of the day exactly middle of the first section and second data point of the day exactly middle of the second section of the dynamic table as per order they occured according to the excel data.

Actually I am preparing a neowave chart of EURUSD and without above requirements the table will not be exactly as per neowave method of chart preperation.
Please guide how to fulfil my requirements.
I am trying to attach another chart that I required but not able to attach it after edit my post
    Regards.
