Excel canvas disappeared, but not the file.

    Hi Excel Gurus

I was working on my spreadsheet, and I trimmed the canvas a little by hiding some of the rows and column, so I can just work on the space I was going to need.
All of a sudden, I must have pressed a hotkey of some kind because all the rows just disappeared. The column border is visible, but the rows are all hidden. File is still open and you see the toolbar headers and menus, but the canvas is completely grayed out/hidden. I tried selecting the column borders and right clicked to unhide, nothing happens. The unhide button on the menu bar is also grayed out and not usable.

I use Google sheets sometimes, and you can truncate the canvas by deleting the extra rows and columns you do not need. But Excel does not have that feature, so what I normally do is hide the extra real estate on the Excel spreadsheet that I am not using.

Please help me unhide the rows, I tried attaching a pic

You seem to have zero row height, ergo:

Click the triangle to the left of column A header.
On the HOME tab in the ribbon, select Cells> Format>Cells size > Auto Fit row height

It looks as though you have nothing selected, hence there's nothing to unhide.

Try clicking on the column A header to see if the Unhide option becomes available.
