Adding a workbook

I'm trying to add a workbook to a working excel document. I looked it up on YouTube. The video I'm watching shows a box on the upper left hand corner of excel that you can use to add a workbook, but my version of excel does not have that box! Can I add it somehow so I can add a workbook?

Which version do you have? 16 means nothing.

What exactly are you trying to do? What do you mean by "add a workbook to a working Excel document"?

I'm not sure how to give the version! "Professional Plus 2016"

Is there a way for me to add screenshots to my posts so I can show what I mean?

OK - then please type "Professional Plus 2016" into your profile.

You can add screenshots using the attachment facility. It's the same process as outlined at the top of the page for workbooks.

I'm trying to attach a picture of what I'm talking about. My excel document does not have what I'm referring to, so I cannot upload my excel file to explain this!

I updated my version.

I tried to share the web address to the video, but this site won't let me! "you are not allowed to post any kinds of links, images or videos until you post a few times"

I'm clearly not used to this site or experienced in excel!! Forgive my ignorance, please!

I'm not sure how to share the video. I attached a still, and it's too small. I'm not sure how to proceed.
