Working an existing Excel spreadsheet and need to move and rename sheets as I've always done in the past. However, both options are now grayed out. Sheet is not protected, no lock icon. Removed password for file thinking that would correct problem. Strange that just last month working this file had no problem. Previously file was in OneDrive but I had moved it to desktop directory.

Is there a secret switch to flip? I thinking this may have something to due with the OneDrive and file sharing. Found where to add a file share but not remove a share.

Running 16.61 Excel for Mac on a Mac Mini processor w macOS Monterey, if any of that matters.

Looks like the workbook is protected. Review > click Protect Workbook.

which version of Excel for Mac are you using?
(tip: it is a year like 2019 2021, or is 365)

with your response, can you also update your profile with that version (so it looks something like: Mac 2021)

next, if the file does not contain private/proprietary information, can it be shared?
