Retrieve values from different Excel files

I have a dashboard where I'd like to have an overview of information from my bills and quotes.

In "Subscriptions" worksheet, for each line of revenue, I'm associating it with the Bill ID that is located in my Windows folder "Bills"

If I enter the Bill ID, can Excel automatically find the Bill Excel file containing the same ID and retrieve information from it like the Year for instance?

I know it looks easily said and more complicated to implement, but your ideas would be welcome thanks

Two approaches:
1) Pull all the workbooks into a PowerQuery, create a table with the relevant information you will want to extract and lookup that table from your Subscriptions worksheet
2) Use VBA to open the file and extract the relevant information
