Table Added Buttons 1-8 that appear to hide or unhide columns on its own

I have a table that pulls data over from a oracle ODBC connection. It worked fine during all my testing and then a coworker used it on the opposite shift and it started having all sorts of issues when he refreshed it.

Coming back in the big thing I see is at the top of the table is now a 1-8 buttons with - or + that appear to collapse or uncollapse columns A-H. I have never used this function of Excel and unsure why they have appeared or how to control them.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated,

Hi Kevndale and welcome to the forum.

The "+" signs along the top are because you have Column Grouping. It looks like you have your font and background color the same so nothing shows. I call this "white on rice". I'd guess your coworker has something different than you have??
One test is worth a thousand opinions.

Awesome that was helpful, apparently SHIFT - ALT - LEFT ARROW will remove the grouping! Knowing what it was called helped tremendously.

Odd that grouping really confused the REFRESH when it tried to pull in new records. Now it works as originally intended!! Thank you
