    Multiple entries in One Cell

The data cells have more than one entry per cell. Some have two (2) and some have three (3). See attached. I need to do break them out into separate columns. Some have Lat and Long and others do not.

The database is very large with over 200,000 rows of data. Thank you. pick ><>

I will say that when the new TEXT functions get released for everyone on excel 365 this is going to make your life extremely simpler. specifically =TEXTSPLIT() =TEXTBEFORE() and =TEXTAFTER()

Re: Multiple entries in One Cell

    Highlight entries in column A
    Click on Data Tab
Click Text to Columns under Data Tools
Click Fixed width and then Next
Click on where you want a separator to be like between Ave and Dallas, between TX and zip, between zip and LAT, etc
    Click Finish.

For some reason it doesn't work if you select Delimited at the beginning - have to do Fixed Width

Re: Multiple entries in One Cell

once the new formulas come out i highly suggest looking into a simpler fix as shown in post #2.
right now i have 6 different formulas for each of the columns.
The formulas are in the yellow highlighted area in the attached workbook.

Hello, I believe these functions have been released for Excel. However none of the new functions are available in my Excel 365, and have tried several times to 'upgrade' only to get the message that I am on the latest version. It is a work account, so is it possible that my company must upgrade its license to get the new functions?
Will appreciate some guidance here as I actually need to use something like TEXTSPLIT.
