Hi. I have 4 very, very large XML files.
I want to open them with Excel.
I can open the smallest XML files with Excel. These files are 0,6 Gig.
The largest files are over 2 Gig. I can't open them with Excel.
Excel just does nothing when i try to open it.
My question is: when i buy a laptop with more power, let's say the newest Macbook Pro, would it be possible that Excel could open the files?

Hi Glenn. The smallest file has 280.000 rows. I quess the largest will have something like 600.000 rows.
Does anybody know?
Well, i think the only solution is to buy a laptop and try. When i have to wait for answers here it will be Christmas i guess.
LoL. Once I knew there was no row number related problems... I did not know where to go next. Even as a Zip, it's unlikely you'll be able to attach ANYTHING here.... to let us play with...

They are amazingly slow even just to download!!
