    Count number against days

    Column a1 has the day of the week.... e.g. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

    Column a2 has a customers telephone number.

    Column a3 needs to present the following..

    I need to know how many times that customer number has called on a friday?

    Try in C copied down

    =COUNTIFS(B:B,B1,A:A,"Friday")
