Pressing enter doesn't work right

My spreadsheet works correctly when entering numbers in 1 or 2 cells, but on the 3rd or 4th time I key data and press enter, the curser jumps somewhere else. How can I enter 25 cells of data when my curser keeps jumping to random cells? Does anyone know how to fix this annoying problem?

Do you use an optical mouse? If so, try changing your mouse pad. I had this same problem, exactly as you describe, and it was because my mouse pad had some color on it that made the optical eye on the mouse forget where it was and "jump around" as you say. When I canged to an all black mouse pad that fixed the problem. Give it a try, cant hurt.

Thanks for the links but we aren't using a mouse for this, we are typing on a keyboard and pressing enter. However, I will try a solid mouse pad because that's simple and crazy enough to work.
