    text box not updating

Good evening. I have a worksheet with multiple text boxes that reference different cells within the worksheet. When I re-calculate the sheet the values in the cells change, but the textbox does not update. When I re-calculate all the text boxes DO update. My problem is the workbook has a worksheet that has a bunch of formulas and it takes a long time for the workbook to update. Is there any way to get the text boxes to update with re-calculating the entire workbook?

    Thank you in advance.

    Matt

These two sentences directly contradict each other. Can you clarify the problem?

One little comma screwed things up. Let's try this again. When I re-calc the worksheet, the cells update, but the text boxes do not. When I re-calc the entire workbook the cells and the text box update.

    thanks

Regrettably Microsoft has two things that they call "textboxes". One is a Shape, which is a rectangle that contains text. This can be linked to a cell. The other is a Control, which the user can type into, and can also be linked to a cell. Which kind are you using?

I have set this up using both, with the textboxes linked to a cell that contains a formula. Any time I update a cell that changes the formula result, the textboxes update immediately, and I cannot reproduce your problem.

Can you attach your workbook? If it's larger than 1MB you can ZIP it; you can attach zip files up to 9.77MB.

Thank you for taking the time to work with me on this. I used a work around to get what I wanted. I added a camera view to see the information I was after.
