Question Downloading Credit card statements from the web

    HELP...

I tried my first post and received this message when I tried to post it. I am obviously doing something wrong.
It notes that HTML code is not allowed, but to my knowledge, I have not used any HTML code at all. Now what? Thanks

    Welcome to the forum.

You have tried to post a link - you aren't allowed to do this.

State your query and attach a sample workbook.

There are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook.

A good sample workbook has just 10-20 rows of representative that has been desensitised. It also has expected results mocked up, relevant cells highlighted and a few explanatory notes.

Re: Downloading Credit card statements from the web

AliGW, in fact I did not try to post a link, except when I posted the "problem" response I received from the Forum. If you check the "Block Reason" noted in my post, it says "Your request was not authorized due to its content (HTML code not allowed)." I do not understand this one as I did not, to my knowledge, post any HTML code. I replaced a link that was part of the "problem statement" with the words "LINK POSTING NOT ALLOWED" as the Problem statement had a link in it, otherwise, I would have been unable to get the "problem" statement posted. The ultimate reason seems to be the though that what I was trying to post had some HTML code in it. While I can read HTML code, I do not write it as I have no idea how to do that.

Maybe you are trying to use < or > - if so, add a space either side of the character.

No, you cannot post anything that the forum software perceives as HTML even if it isn't - this is a security measure to protect us from malicious code injections.

As I have said, state the issue and illustrate it in an attached file. I can't help you until you do this.
