Collect the numbers of items sold and write the total on another page Beside to the item

    Hi,
I am trying to create a simple inventory management Sheets,
I have, for example The Sheet (I attached the picture "1.png")
This Sheet it represents the sales page.
I want to collect the quantity of items sold, and write the sum of each item separately Beside to its name on the stock page (I attached the picture "2.png")

For example here in total i sale 6 "banana" I want to write this number beside to the "banana" in C5 and this represents the number of bananas i sold.
So that I can implement equations on them later.

I attached the file, I hope my question is clear,
    Thank you in advance

You can use this formula in cell C2 of the Stock sheet:

    =SUMIF(sales!B:B,A2,sales!C:C)

    then copy down as required.

    Hope this helps.

    Pete

It's not much use to us if you have "unknown" as your location in your profile, as we do not know what your regional settings would be if we don't know where you are. Please change your profile to reflect your location (it only needs to be the country) using the User CP option above your first post.

Glad to help, and thanks for the rep.

    Pete
