Troubleshooting, Row 1 sinks into row 2.

    Morning/Afternoon,

This is more of a troubleshooting issue, and I'm not sure if it's appropriate here.

Long story short, maybe 25% of the time I open a excel sheet, the top row sinks into the row underneath it. Reopening the file usually gets rid of it, and it doesn't affect every file every time. Any attempt at modifing the data in those rows just causes them to disappear, even through the data is still contained in the cell. Formula's will even work out of it.

I am pretty sure it's a display error of some form, but for the life of me I can not figure out what is going on. It also only affects excel.

Attached is a snip from what the top looked like with the error, and then another after I reopened the file. (I put the black line in columns B and J)

    Thank you

We really need to see the workbook/worksheet to do any sort of diagnosis.

Please see the yellow banner at the top of the page.

Possibly Alt-Enter creating new blank lines in the cell(s) and/or word wrap.
