Exclamation Power Query Data Type Information

    Hi all,

probably a really easy fix, but ive been on this for an hour, now, and im coming to a deadline fast.

Im assessing a load of output, and ive done the profiling, but what i really need is to copy and report on the field types.

When my table is brought into Power Query, it handily adds the field type in the heading. Is there any way i can extract that data?

you might want to check out Table.Schema -- this will return all of the field info as pertains to a given Table, which you can then filter to return whatever you need.

OT, but please update your forum profile - I suspect you have upgraded from Excel 2010.
