Totaling a column based on the criteria in a different column

    Dear all

Long time since my last post - hope everybody is well

I have two columns (see mock data):

    People (Column A)
    Total Costs (Column B)

In J1 and J2 respectively i have the total which has been manually calculated

Can anyone suggest a formula that i can put into those two cells to do the calculation for me?

    Best wishes

    Robert
