Mass change currency format on in various columns on several tabs in same file

Hello,

I have an Excel file that contains 30 tabs. Each tab has USD and another currency in several columns. For example, $ and NZ$.

Currently I manually change NZ$ to A$ in every column and cell and it takes me quite long, especially since I'm converting US$ into seven other currencies. Is there any way to quickly mass change the currency format for all cells that contain an amount with NZ$ to A$, for example? The columns are not the same on every tab, so I can't select all tabs and do the change that way.

The USD columns remain the same, it's only the other currencies I want to change.

Since Excel 2010 version you can use find and replace to change the format of cells. so simply find out what he exact formatting is of the NZ$ cells then set that as the format, keep the find field blank to only search for formatting
then keep replace also empty but change the format to the wanted currency.
