    Power Query Parameter Conflict in Types

    I have a Query that goes to a file on our system - the location and name is provided by par_COBRANCH (see attached File)

    The M Code for the Query is

    When I refresh this Query I get the following error on the execution of the first row of the Query

    Expression.Error: We cannot convert a value of type List to type Text.
    Details:
    Value=[List]
    Type=[Type]

    I got the same message when instead of converting the parameter to a List I converted it to a Table.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

    Thank You

    Sorry - I can't see this query in the workbook. I can see only two connection only queries.

    Dorry

    The query connects to a file on my system which I that I can't share. I thought that the the reason for the error may have been evident from the code...

    Kind Regards

    Not to me. I understand the error message, as I am sure do you, but I can't troubleshoot it using the attached file.

    Sorry.

    Re: Power Query Parameter Conflict in Types

    Why have you converted the parameter to a list in the last step?

    But why? It's a single value.
