We are from Europe. I use Office PRO Excel version 2007. When I calculate =1998/400, I get a result like 4,995. As I need to bring such number to the lowest rounded number, need to know how to manage this using formula settings. An example: 4,995 should be rounded to 4.
Pleae update your forum profile with Europe instead of N/A. Thanks.
You can use:
=ROUNDDOWN(yourformula,0) as suggested in Post 2.

I have tried. =ROUNDDOWN(D7/H4,0) will not work.
Invisible problems are hard to diagnose. Read the yellow banner (top) and post a sample sheet.
Also you were asked to add your approx (national) location. N/a means nothing. You stated Europe... that's too vague. Here we use , as the separator. In many other countries ; is used.

Thank you for all help. I have managed using pure menu options. Your suggestions fixes when I go step by step using menu. It is more accurate.
It works perfect: =ROUNDDOWN(J4;0)

rounddown() is supported in version 2007
so Why doesnot work, as suggested a sample spreadsheet would help to see whyI have tried. =ROUNDDOWN(D7/H4,0) will not work.
As you can see from the attached spreadsheeet = D7=4.96 and H4 = 1 - so result in A1 should be 4.96 - but i used rounddown() and got 4
or try
=FLOOR(J4;0)
