    Question Sync Excel settings?

I have Office 365 installed on both my laptop and new desktop. I want the desktop settings for Excel to be the same as those on the laptop.

    Can I sync them?

Is there a settings file on the laptop that I can copy to the desktop?

    Another way?

I don't want to have to redo them from scratch ...

    Thanks.

    Re: Sync Excel settings?

    You can sync them manually.

Right click on any Ribbon control and select Customize the Ribbon
At the bottom right of the pop-up window click Import/Export, then Export All Customizations
Select a folder and filename to dump the customizations
Copy the file to the other machine
Go through the same steps but this time select Import Customization File
Select the file you just copied

This will replicate all Ribbon and QAT settings

HOWEVER if you created any new buttons that call macros, those macros will not be included. I used my Personal.xlsb file for those macros and use Dropbox to sync it automatically.
