Excel 2003 - Making cells square

Please update your forum profile, which says Excel 2000. I take it you do mean Excel 2003 as in the year 2003? That is, a very old version?

In the attched file, the rows all default to 20pixels deep. Grab a bunch of columns and drag to left until pixel width is also 20???

I did... but maybe not clearly enough. I can't recall where things were in Excel 2003, so a more roundabout way...

1. open a sheet.

2. Left click on the line at the border between any two row labels and mentally note the pixel size (15 by default in my Excel).


3. select as many columns as you need, or click on the box at the junction of th erow labels and column labels to do the whole sheet.

4. Left click on the line at the border between any two column labels and, with the left button still depressed, move the border partition to the left until it, too, reads 20 pixels.

5. Done.
