Trying to get VLOOKUP to return correct Value

Hi

I'm looking for help with my current problem.

I have data like in the example below.

Main Table
1 Apple
2 Orange
3 Pear
4 Grape
5 Berry

Where the numbers are in column A and the text in Column B

What I would like to do is create another table, when I enter the Number's it the new table, eg 3, Pear would auto insert into the column next to it.

New table
2 Orange
3 Pear
2 Orange
5 Berry
4 Grape

I have tried using Vlookup but which works until I put the second 2 in the new table, then it will not insert anything into the next column.

Any help would be well received.
