    Tiered commission or fee structure

    Hi,

I am trying to solve a problem where I need to build out multiple fee/commission structures across a huge range of products. I was hoping to use a tiered calculation in this lay out so I can repeat the method simply. However, when I use the look up function I get errors in return.

In this example I would like to enter the amount 750000 and work out what the fee would be in $ based on the tiered fee structure. is there a way to achieve the answer of 2100 in a formula? Thanks for your help.

    See the sheet.

    1. You need to add a new column showing the % difference between tiers.

    2. Forumula: =SUMPRODUCT(--(D10>$A$2:$A$5),--(D10-$A$2:$A$5),$D$2:$D$5)

    3. Your expected answer was MILES out!!
