Pasting Tab Delimited Text from Notepad into Excel - Need Help

I have an Excel spreadsheet that multiple users use. I have several macros in the spreadsheet that move entries from one worksheet to another. One of these macros involves automatically formatting and sorting the data that the user pastes the tab delimited text into the worksheet. This macro depends heavily on the pasted data being already separated into the separate columns and all highlighted (which normally happens automatically since paste is of text that is already tab delimited).

I have one user that it was working correctly for until a couple of days ago. Now, when she pastes the tab delimited text into the worksheet, it populates all to only one column, with only that one column highlighted (as if the text was not tab delimited....more like what would happen with normal text to columns that wasn't delimited). Because hers is not formatting correctly when she pastes it into the worksheet, the macro to format, sort, and move the data to another worksheet isn't working. Again, the paste is working properly for all other users, it is only for her that it does this, and hers was working normally until a couple of days ago.

I know this has to have been something she inadvertently changed on her own Excel, but I have no idea what it could be. Can someone please guide me as to what could have caused her Excel to no longer recognize the pasted data as tab delimited text? I appreciate ANY help!

Yes, I initially thought she might have downloaded the info the wrong way (as in maybe she hadn't downloaded the info as tab delimited text or something like that), but it's the correct format.
I had her email me the notepad file that she was copying and pasting, and I tried it myself. When I pasted it myself, pasted in correctly. When she pasted from the same exact file, it pasted
as if it was not tab delimited text.

The process is basically, you download today's list from our customer service database, using the "Export All to Tab Delimited Text" option, and they save it in a folder.
Next, they navigate to find the file and open it. They right click, choose "Select All", the choose "Copy". Finally they go into the Excel worksheet, right click into cell E6, and click paste.
If the paste is formatted correctly, they would then click the "Format CIM Exports" button which contains the macro which does the rest.
When it's formatted like hers is doing, the macro does not work based on the way the macro is written. I just need to get hers to paste like it was before.

Of course trying to trouble shoot the issue/s without having the actual workbook will be nothing more than a guessing game.
And those guesses could go on forever.

Posting a copy of the actual workbook (without any confidential information) is required.

Although this won't identify the specific error that is occurring .... what about giving her a clean, new workbook to use ?
Is the error still happening with the new workbook ?

Great question Logit. I actually have tried giving her a clean workbook to try it on, and same result.

Hmmm .... my next step would be to have EXCEL deleted from her computer, then reloaded.

My thought is something is corrupt in EXCEL itself.
