Alternatives on linking files from sharepoint online

Hi, is there an alternative solution on linking excel files from sharepoint online to another excel file automatically without using power query/powerBi(too slow to refresh)? And can be refreshed by other people in our organization without changing the path manually? I have multiple excel files with more than 400k data in every files and needs to merge.

I would suspect so. if you can link 2 local workbooks together, why not one on the cloud and on off of it?

Previously I used MS Access to merge those file when we're still using shared folder however upon using sharepoint other people in our org can't refresh the file as MS access has invalid path as it is only connected on my local drive.

Yes, I tried using power query and using ms access but it does not do what I want. Maybe there is another way to link those files in the fastest way.

Upon updating the Microsoft excel to latest version, power query refresh time has been reduced. So, I just stick with linking the SharePoint to excel thru power query. Thank you.
