    I am trying to figure out how to create a workbook and have it show specific data.

    Greetings Fellow Members Of Excel Forum
    I am trying to figure out how to create a workbook for the various subjects I teach. English, Math, History, Geography etc.) - plus the topics and assignments that I give. My goal is to show the correlation between the “Assignments” I give and the defined State Standards for education. The State Standard has 5 key elements: READING-WRITING-LISTENING-SPEAKING-VIEWING; and each of these elements have descriptions of what should be covered in order to be aligned.

    Here is where I am totally stuck and confused at what to do next. Some of the definitions of the State Standards are fairly long so I would like to have a “keys” or “links” that a user can easily and quickly know the definition or description easy.

    I would also like to have some way to see how the various “keys” have been covered in various Assignments over various subjects. For example, a particular Reading Key may have been aligned in both English, History and Earth Science.

    Please forgive me if it’s either too much information, not enough or I just seem foolish because of my ignorance on the subject; and thank you in advance for any assistance you may be able to afford me. I am eager and willing to learn this powerful, amazing program.
