    Date populated check

    Hi...

I have a list of Account Numbers and Date of Births in a file with 1000s of Rows, having 2 date formats.
I need to create a New Column called "Actual or Not Populated" , flagging the "Actual DOB" and "Not Populated DOB" values.

What formula would work if I was to create this 3rd column, to check these date values?

Account No., DOB, Actual or Not Populated?

    T65M21D969R, 1965-08-21, Actual DOB
    T65H08I580E, 1965-06-08, Actual DOB
    D69C03C034A, 0001-01-01 00:00:00.0, Not Populated DOB
    N54E30L298F, 0001-01-01 00:00:00.0, Not Populated DOB

    Thanks guys..

    Re: Date populated check

    I think I’d do this:

    =IF (B2>1,"Actual DoB","Not Populated DoB")

Thanks for suggestion...But I've just tried that and both the Date values are now being flagged in my new column as "Actual DoB"

There are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook.

I meant to say it wont let me post a file, when I click on the attachment icon.. Nothing happens when I do click on it.
Tried to do this on a few browsers.

    Re: Date populated check

So you still aren’t following the instructions. They tell you how to do it and it doesn’t involve the paper clip icon. Read them again, please. Do you really thin’, as a moderator, I’d be asking you to do something that I knew was impossible?
