Data visualization for roulette results (using Datapoint app)

    Hey.

I've got a home casino setup and as part of my roulette table I'd like to have a winning number display with a some what detailed analysis of the game as it progresses. There is no software online for this stuff and I've only found one other article similar to this which isn't the solution I'm ideally looking for.

As it stands I've found a really good excel spreadsheet which can record spin numbers and automatically sorts them into red/black, odd/even, columns, high/low and so on... I've now found a piece of software called Data Point which takes live Excel data and presents it into PowerPoint...

    My struggle is this -

Create a Pivot table which shows the last 15 spins or so in the most recent order or in fact take any of the data and make any sort of graph or something nicer to read!

I don't just want to duplicate my display and have it looking tacky so If you're as bored as I am in this pandemic then I'd appreciate some guidance or a helping hand

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,

To get the most recent entry in column B, you could use this:

    Formula: copy to clipboard
Please Login or Register to view this content.

and if you wanted a table of the last 15 spins, modify that formula....

    Formula: copy to clipboard

    Rule 1: Never merge cells
    Rule 2: See rule 1

Re: Data visualization for roulette results (using Datapoint app)

    Hello,

Thanks for getting back to me.

I'm not sure how to actually implement that to the spreadsheet. I'm trying to take the information from "Manual Inputs" and put them in a readable format on another sheet in the same document. I believe Datapoint requires a pivot table to enable live function to PowerPoint but don't hold me to that. So while I'm inputting the data into "Manual Inputs" the output spreadsheet is updating accordingly then outputting to PowerPoint. My struggle is actually taking the information and getting it there in a readable format. I'll attach a picture, I know I wont get it looking bang on but do you think I can get something like the last 10/15 spins, a chart displaying top colours and also hot and cold numbers?

I understand if its too big of a job

I'm a bit slow with Excel and haven't used it in years so sorry if I sound like an idiot.

    Thanks

Have you tried using Google tables?
    1. Open the file in Google Spreadsheets on your computer.
    2. Click the Data Analysis icon Data Analysis in the lower right corner of the screen. If the data you want to create charts or analysis is on a different sheet, in the upper right corner of the window, select Edit and edit the settings.
    3. To add a chart, drag it to the table.
    4. To add a formula, drag it to the table.
    5. To add a crosstab, click the Insert Crosstab Add icon.
    6. Note. You can only perform these steps if you have permission to edit the file.
