Linking Slicers - Creating Relationship Between Data Sources

Hi There

I receive a message "Miscrosoft.AnalysisServices.BackEnd.StorageException) while creating relationships in Excel 2016"

I dont quite understand this, I have two table data sources feeding Pivot Tables with a dashboard. When I want to create a relationship between lets the " Region Column" which contains the same values it says that is not possible. Same when creating date relation ships , the purpose of the dates are the same and there are many value entries with the same date

it allows a relation ship but the relationship dont seem to work

How can i get around this problem

Create a dimension table, containing the distinct Regions.

Create relationships between this table and your fact tables which contain region data.

Use the Region dimension table for your slicers.

Take same approach for Dates.
