I am creating shapes via macro and filling them with text in a separate helper cell.- eg select the shape and formula bar =A1

However now i need to delete the 'helper'cell, but retain the text in the shape. Normally i deal with breaking formula links by copy, paste values. That doesn't work with shapes.

Options?

Store helper cell info in variable WOInfo
