Filtering broken hyperlinks out of a list of links

Hi everyone,

I would like some help with a problem. I have a bunch of hyperlinks in Excel, most of which don't work. Since I'm cleaning this list, I want to filter out the broken links. There are about 1600, so doing it manually would take me a day. Does anyone have a good trick to filter out or underline / color the non-working links?

I already searched for this issue on excelforum.com and i found this one: excel-programming-vba-macrosn checking-for-broken-hyperlinks.html ( i can't post links so i do it this way)

But neither of these formulas work, altough i did everything to make the macro work ( copy and paste the formula into VBA, safe formula, go back to worksheet with f11, on the worksheet press F8, select the macro, click OK) . I can see the program running, but there's not happening anything with the hyperlinks. So basically it doesnt work.

So any help would be great!
