Export date of birth and importing it to a new app

    Hi all,

I have a list of user that have entered their birthdays in DD/MM format and I need to import that data into a new app that "wants" MM/DD/YYY. Assuming I can make the year up, my issue is that the file I download makes no sense to me (attached)

If you take the first row, the actual birthday is 17/7 and the cell format is 01/07/2017 but then the second line the actual date is 8/3 but the cell format is 08/03/2020.

Am I missing something or is the export system is bad and there's nothing to be done?

    it didn't help.

I did find that if I open it with google sheets rather than excel it seems a bit different and more accurate. Now I have a different issues:
Some cells have MM/DD and some MM/DD/YYYY. When I remove the YYYY (=if(len(F2)>5,left(F2,5),F2)) this is now changing the format. What i am trying to do here is to remove the year from all dates that have a year so I have a uniform data and then add a random year to all.
