Formula to Check Bar Codes for Attendance

Hello Readers,
I am currently working on a high school project for my college class and I am seeking help. I am conducting a project using excel while using a bar code scanner to take attendance for a class where student simply scan their ID and then it states they are here. I've ran into some issues with my formulas I have written they have not been successful, so now I am seeking help from an expert in excel to help me so my project goes on smoothly.
