Re: Calculate effort hours based on FTE allocation

Since you have the FTE in Col C use it. Also use Col. F instead of hard coding the 45

    In Cell H4

    =C4*F4*G4

    Copy down

    Does that work for you?

Re: Calculate effort hours based on FTE allocation

You don't say what happens if FTE is NOT 0.5.
    Your H6 shows a special condition which involves just F6 * G6

    Please clarify

Re: Calculate effort hours based on FTE allocation

Yes AceXL, it worked & was so easy...i think i was just going mad at it...overconsuming myself

Richard, the H column shows the result of total effort hours based on the FTE allocation. The no. of working hours per week remains standard as 45. I was just not getting it right. This was so simple.

Thank you both...i will mark this thread solved.
