Cannot change text in control button in Excel for Mac

I have a button on a worksheet linked to a VBA macro. Is there a way of changing the text displayed on the button? Currently, it shows "Button 1". When I right-click on the button, the only relevant menu item offered is "Edit Alt Text" which brings up a box into which I can enter text, but I have no idea how to get that text displayed on the button.

I answered my own problem.
No need to "Edit Alt Text". Instead just double click on the button text itself after right-clicking the button. Brings up the cursor on the text itself for editing.
