I have a question that I can’t find an answer for on the ‘net.

I teach kids how to play the card game, Bridge.
For my documentation, I created a set of key combinations that work on Word. Alt+(num)4 = ♦ Alt+(num)5 = ♣, Alt+(num)6 = ♥, Alt+(num)3 = ♠,

They also work on Excel, except when I press Alt+(num)6 it skips to Cell R1, and I get “+R1♥” in that cell.

Do you have any clue on how I can fix this (it used to work just fine) ?
