Using a form to fill in a spreadsheet

I have to collect a lot of my colleagues personal data for an excel spreadsheet. Data protection means they aren't allowed to see the spreadsheet. Is there a quicker way of collecting this data then emailing them all one by one and filling in the spreadsheet manually?

Ideally I would like there to be a form they could fill in- either on excel or in another application- and then my spread sheet is automatically updated? If there is a link would be great! Thanks,

    Welcome to the forum.

MS Forms? Are you using SharePoint?

Thanks Ali! Never heard of MS forms- is it a standard part of the office package? And yes we do have sharepoint.

I believe so. We use it to collect pupil language options.

The data collected via the form goes into a .csv file that can be downloaded - it should be perfectly possible to use Get & Transform on the Data ribbon to set up a query that hooks up to the file and pulls the data into your spreadsheet each time you refresh it.
