Count based on accuracy of date difference

Hi - This is a complex one and I'm hoping someone can help me out. On the attached sheet each row represents a treatment. I have 3 columns F, G and H for Approval Date, Projected Finish Date and Finish Date respectively. Subtracting column G from F gives me the estimated time to finish treatment. Subtracting column H from F gives me the exact time it took to finish treatment. I want to count the number of treatments where the difference between the actual time to finish treatment, compared to the estimated time to complete treatment, is within the following ranges:

    1. -2 weeks to 2 weeks
    2. 3 & 4 weeks
    3. 5 & 6 weeks
    4. 7 & 8 weeks
    5. ect.....

    Thanks in advance!

Thanks for providing a workbook, however we expect you to mock up manually some results to show us what you are expecting. Please do that and then post the workbook again.

Re: Count based on accuracy of date difference

I've re-uploaded the excel sheet. Columns J, K and L have been entered manually find difference between the estimated treatment time compared to the actual treatment time. I then use column L to determine the values for C2:C4. I want to avoid creating and calculating columns J, K and L and use a formula to give my C2:C4.

    Thanks!
