Two data sets, with different dates - Want to match so dates connect

So i have two dataset.
1. Daily data
2. Weekly data

I would like to match the data so the weekly data are on the same row when the dates are the same as daily.
Can this be done? And how?

If this can be done, is it now possible to delete all the daily data that doesn't have a matching weekly date?
