Hi,
I have cells formatted to display the time.
Is it possible to change the display to show lower case am/pm rather than upper case AM/PM?
Cheers, Paul

Use the following custom format:
h:mm a/p\m
I cannot explain why this works, but it does.

It didn't work for me - it kept auto-putting a \ in front of the a/p\m and displaying incorrectly.

Please don't quote whole posts, especially when you are responding to the one immediately preceding your own - it's just clutter. It's OK to quote if you are responding to a post out of sequence, but limit quoted content to a few relevant lines that makes clear to whom and what you are responding. Thanks!
For normal conversational replies, try using the QUICK REPLY box below.
I delete it and it re-inserts it.
Try repairing your copy of Excel, then try again.
Fantastic - works for me - been trying to do this for years! Many thanks.![]()
