Financial Model Not Working

Hi,

I would appreciate help resolving why I am unable to resolve an issue inside of my excel model. I am very capable in excel, but I am hitting a wall on understanding the problem within this spreadsheet.

In essence, when on the "Return" tab, cell C32 is a variable field that should change the base return on investment given to the LP (limited Partner). For some reason, this cell is not impacting a change in any of the actual return values - and I cannot see what I'm doing wrong.


Can anyone else help me see the issue on this?

Hi there,

Without going into your worksheet in detail, it seems that the value in Cell C32 affects only those values in the range C78:W78, and none of the values in that range affect the calculation of the LP Partner account (e.g. Range C92:C98).

Thanks for looking at this. After reading your thoughts I realized that it's because of cell I97 having some kind of off-set formula - but again, I don't see how to fix this? Do you know how to fix it?

The formula in cell I97 seems relatively straightforward, but as I have no way of understanding the process behind your calculations I can't really suggest what needs to be done
