    Freeze Panes Glitch

When I try to freeze panes in excel an image of some of the cells that I'm freezing appears on top of some of the cells I want to see. I've attached a document with 2 screenshots. The first is a screenshot of my unfrozen workbook where I've selected the cell I want to use to freeze the rows and columns I'd like to freeze. The second image is the document after I click freeze panes. Any idea of how i can get rid of the image of frozen cells covering up my column headers?

    Re: Freeze Panes Glitch

    Welcome to the Forum AMBBJ_2019!

This looks unusual. Can you attach your actual Excel file please, with Freeze Panes turned on?

The paper clip icon does not work for attachments. To attach a file, under the text box where you type your reply click the Go Advanced button. On the next screen scroll down and click on Manage Attachments, which will show a pop-up window to Select and Upload a file. Then close the window.

Hmm... still seeing it on my end. Must be a local setting that's making this happen

    Re: Freeze Panes Glitch

Just tried to freeze panes on a different excel document to see if it was something about my computer and not this particular excel document. I didn't have any issues freezing panes in the other doc

Can you try copying the contents to a new workbook and seeing if it still happens?
