The question is: when one of our users is in a filtered list and selects / highlights a row, why, when he closes the filter does the sheet sometimes stay on the row that he has selected / highlighted, while other times it reverts back to the top of the list?
In the work he is doing he needs the sheet to always stay on the row that he has selected / highlighted.
I was able to find that if the user hits the home key on the times that the highlighted row doesn't stay at the top it will bring him to the correct row. So he is happy he has a quick and easy work around but we would both really like to know why. As a side note the user is very proficient in Excel.
Thank you
I meant to include the fact that I have Google this as best I could and was not able to find an answer. I even resorted to using Bing.
