The use of AI tools (e.g. chatGPT, BARD, GPT4 etc) to create forum answers is not permitted. If a user is believed to have used such tools to provide a forum answer, sanctions may be imposed.
HOW TO ATTACH YOUR SAMPLE WORKBOOK:Unregistered, Fast answers need clear examples. Post a small Excel sheet (not a picture) showing realistic & representative sample data WITHOUT confidential information (10-20 rows, not thousands...) and some manually calculated results. Extracting a number from a cell
Hi,

I have a series of cells where I need to extract a number but my text is not consistant e.g.
ETL_UK_Property_1010285_4
ETL_UK_Property_1010285_7
ETL_1010376_16
ETL_UK_Property_2500001_1
ETL_UK_Property_3400011_6

Is there a formula which would look for a 7 digits a extract the number as per the example.
