Your post does not comply with Rule 1 of our Forum RULES. Your post title should accurately and concisely describe your problem, not your anticipated solution.
Use terms appropriate to a Google search. Poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will be addressed according to the OP's experience in the forum: If you have less than 10 posts, expect (and respond to) a request to change your thread title. If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title.
To change a Title go to your first post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.
(This thread should receive no further responses until this moderation request is fulfilled, as per Forum Rule 6)

Yields 0.191 in some mixed in3*ft2 five-dimensional mixed-unit thing.
this looks more likely to match what was written =231^3/((3018/360)/0.006944^2)
though I am scratching my head as to why you are taking cubic inches and dividing by square feet, seems there should be some conversion first.

I'd write it as
=231 / 144 * 360 / 3018
231/144 is the height of a gallon of liquid on a one-foot square base. Dunno what the rest of it is.

Thanks for the help. I'm trying to figure how much wastewater is being applied on a spray system. Actual calculated precipitation rate (in/day)
231 in³/((3018/360)/0.006944 ft²) 231 cubic inches per gallon/((sq ft area covered/360 gallons per day)/0.006944 sq ft.
All sorted?
I don't think so, I'm trying to look up some more info. I will let you know if I have it figured out. Thanks
The formula in post #5 doesn't return what you'd expect?
I apologize I must not have looked at it correctly. Yes it did come up with the answer I was looking for. Thank you for the help.
You're welcome.
You might set it up like this:
A B C D 1Area 3018ft^2 2Volume 360gal 3Depth 0.19in B3: =B2 * 231 / (B1 * 144)
thanks for the assistance
