    Post conditional format query

    Hi,

In a range I have a conditional format to colour cell if = "H" but when I delete the cell contents the colour still remains, I don't know why this has started to happen i'm sure before the cell returned to a no fill status.

    Any ideas?

    Re: conditional format query

Perhaps it has previously been formatted with a colour. Have you tried applying a 'No Fill' to the cell.

    1. Are your formulas set to Calculate Automatically?

    File>Options>Formulas

    2. The only other idea i can think of is maybe adding VBA to update your screen

Where are we looking exactly? I just deleted an H and the cell's yellow colour disappeared, too.

It is your end, then - nothing to do with the workbook as far as I can see.
