How can I put a password on a 2010 excel file or Tab?

Please update your title to be more descriptive of your question.
After you do this then please explain what you want to protect against. Do you want the user to enter a password just to be able to open the file, or just to be able to see a worksheet? Or do you want them to view it but require a password to make changes?
Your post does not comply with Rule 1 of our Forum Rules. Please update your title to tell us something about your specific question. Describe your problem, not your anticipated solution. We ask this for two reasons:
1. Members scan the list of threads to decide where they can help. The title helps us decide which questions we have the knowledge to solve.
2. After a question is answered, the title helps people with similar questions find it in a search.
Use terms appropriate to a Google search. Examples of poor thread titles are Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Excel Question, Code Problem, and Need Advice.
To change a Title go to your first post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.
This thread should receive no further responses until this moderation request is fulfilled, as per Forum Rule 6.
I'm not sure how much more clear I can be! My subject is "Password" in Excel? My question is how I can put a password on a File or Tab. What other information do you require?
How about "how I can put a password on a File or Tab"
That is what I ask? IF you know will you tell me?

This is starting to sound like "Who's on first." I have updated your title for you for the sake of moving forward. Next time please give some thought to your title so it gives insight as to your specific question. The single word "Password" gives no clue as to what you want to know about passwords.
Back to my original question:
Please explain what you want to protect against. Do you want the user to enter a password just to be able to open the file, or just to be able to see a worksheet? Or do you want them to view it but require a password to make changes?
