Shrink to fit & Wrap Text Issue

Hello,

I've been using excel for about 2 years now at my job but started with no excel experience. I've never had an issue like this and upon researching it, I cant find an answer either. So heres my issue...

I copy and pasted a link into a cell. Clicked word wrap, and nothing happened. The text continues outside of the cell still. So I tried Shrink to fit, that didnt work either. Its almost like they are not doing anything to the text. Could it be a setting I have on? Or maybe copy and pasted links (it doesnt display as a blue link, only text) cant have this done? but I know Ive dont it before on other spreadsheets. I've attached an image below to show that the cells are selected and wrap text is on but they dont wrap or shrink to fit. Before its mentioned, I did try this on a single cell instead of multiple and still got the same issue.
