What happens if a group of data doesn't total 125 ? if it totals more than 125 ?

Ensure you describe your problem clearly, I have little time available to solve these problems and do not appreciate numerous changes to them.
So... what DO you want to happen if the first total abouve 124 is 130?? Or will each "group" ALWAYS add up to EXACTLY 125?

None of us get paid for helping you... we do this for fun. So DON'T FORGET to say "Thank You" to all who have freely given some of their time to help YOU
It would help if you attached a sample Excel workbook.
To do this, click on Go Advanced (below the Edit Window) while you are composing a reply, then scroll down to and click on Manage Attachments and the Upload window will open. Click on Browse and navigate to (and double-click) the file icon that you want to attach, then click on Upload and then on Close this Window to return to the Edit window. When you have finished composing your post, click on Submit Post. Don't try to use the Paperclip icon (Attachments button), as it doesn't work on this forum.
Hope this helps.

I have attached the excel file that im currently working on. I'm doing the time study and would want to group them into the new group with the total time between 360mins and not more than 400mins.
What formula that i can use to do the grouping in a faster way.
Maybe this, in J2, copied down:
=1+INT(SUM(I$2:I2)/400)
Thanks for the formula.![]()
You're welcome.
