    Formula for number sequentially alternate rows

    Good day

    I need to automatically number alternate rows sequentially from A9 onwards.

    A9 - 1
    A10 - blank
    A11 - 2
    A12 - blank
    A13 - 3
    A14 - blank
    A15 - 4

    Can someone please show a formula. Thanks

    Please Login or Register  to view this content.
    in a10 -- leave empty

    select those 2 cells, press CTRL-C

    select area you wish to fill, press CTRL-V

    A7 has to be blank, though.
